This work is the continuation of “Behavior and education of the dog” (Educagri éditions, 2010). Its objective is to bring to the knowledge of all, enthusiasts and professionals of the canine world, the information necessary to better understand, know and train dogs.
The approach is interdisciplinary. The following were brought together: educators-behaviorists, veterinary clinicians and psychologists, journalists, scientists and teacher-researchers in anthropology, sociology, ethology, and genetics.
The objective is to present a holistic vision of the well-being and respect of the dog. It is by constantly re-examining the meaning of our actions in the light of scientific research, empirical experience and individual sensitivity that we contribute to the evolution of relationships with others, with living beings.

Thanks to his human qualities, his veterinary knowledge and his uncompromising love for dogs, Thierry Bedossa delivers the secrets of a success accessible to all: a rich and harmonious life in the company of a fulfilled and happy dog.
Doctor Thierry Bedossa is a veterinarian and behavioral doctor in Neuilly, in the clinic he founded. He is also a community doctor in the AVA refuge (Aide aux Vieux Animaux), which he opened in Normandy. In the Happy Dog show on M6, viewers saw him give advice to owners overwhelmed by their dog. He wrote several books, but none was as complete as Tout sur le toutou, where he brings together the sum of his knowledge to answer all the questions that a master can ask himself about his dog, from the most anecdotal to the more dramatic.
The dog is neither a quadruped nor a person. He is man's best friend. In this book, Thierry Bedossa delivers a bible manual for the use of the dog as a companion in our lives. Where to get it ? Why want it? Under what conditions? How to treat him? How not to train him but on the contrary make him want to please us? And how can we make him want to satisfy our desires, which are often so far removed from his needs? How to provide your dog with a favorable environment? How to love him in his own way, and not in ours?
Thanks to his human qualities, his veterinary knowledge and his uncompromising love for dogs, Thierry Bedossa delivers the secrets of a success accessible to all: a rich and harmonious life in the company of a fulfilled and happy dog.
